All gatherings will be 9 am - noon, in my backyard shelter, open to Kettle Pond Park on the west side of Madison or in my home (depending on weather).
August 24, 2019 9 am - noon We will gather together in my backyard shelter space open to Kettle Pond for a morning of beading and jewelry making with intention. We will begin the morning in gratitude, and together we will call in the Muse and create a space of radiant feminine creativity. Choose from a beautiful array of natural stone and glass beads to create an object of wearable beauty. Infuse your finished pieces with intention through a guided meditation.
This friendly environment fosters a feeling of safety, community, remembering, and belonging.
September 21, 2019 from 9 am - noon In celebration of the Harvest and Fall Equinox, join in a morning of Natural Wreath Making. We will begin the morning in gratitude for the abundance of the harvest, and together we will call in the Muse and create a space of radiant feminine creativity. Choose from a beautiful array of dried fruits, leaves, flowers, cones, feathers and other natural materials to create an object of beauty that may adorn the entrance to your dwelling. In closing we will infuse a collectively created wreath with our gratitude for the harvest and blessings and dreams for the women of our world.
October 10, 2019 from 9am - noon Come feed the memory of your ancestors and create among Sisters! We will gather together in our home and backyard shelter space open to Kettle Pond for a morning of crafting Hung Bao paper lanterns in honor of your ancestors.
Choose from a beautiful array of papers and adornments to create lanterns of beauty that reflect and celebrate your heritage and ancestry. Please bring photocopies of pictures of your ancestors, pets, beings you have been in connection with that have passed on. You can bring copies of letters/handwritten recipes etc., other copies of memorabilia. We will glue these treasures into our lanterns. In closing we will sing and remember our ancestors - that they will continue to guide us from the other side toward a better world for all women! We part ways, carrying our lanterns into our dwellings to light the coming darkness of the season.

Being prepared for Women’s Circle:
Women’s Hand Making Circle is for those who identify as women. We want to offer this time to women as a deep respite and rejuvenation time. However, if childcare is difficult, we welcome your children and offer support to you in circle so that you can take time to create as you tend to your child’s needs.
Arrive as early as you like. Our property backs up to Kettle Pond Park. The water and birds will enjoy your company for an early morning stroll or meditation as set up preparations are being made.
Tea, Water, and light snacks will be provided for you. Please note any food allergies on your registration form.
We will work on the floor. Some seating mats will be provided. Chairs and TV trays are available if back support is needed. Please indicate on the registration form any accommodations needed so we can support your comfort.
Artistic skill and/or ability is NOT necessary. We will work with and alongside our inner critics. All that is needed is an open heart and mind and the willingness to take a leap and be caught in the creative web of sisterhood.
You will take all completed work with you. If you have any incomplete pieces you will be able to take any supplies needed to finish them away from group.
Some months on the pond brings us in close relationship with mosquitoes. Natural mosquito spray is preferred. In respect and connection to the insects and winged beings of this land, we ask that you refrain from spraying any DEET products on the property or at the pond. If the outdoor space cannot keep us comfortable we will meet inside the home.
